OMAR BONGO Dead or Alive

It has been more than 40 years since bongo took power in the oil rich country of Gabon in the west coast of africa. Bongo quickly moved from democratic to a 1 poltical party as it was the norm in all african countries. at the same time building his empire in france and elsewehere in europe while promoting the contreversial France Afrique relation. Today his is living the country in the brink of turmoil due to no apparent successor. will the transition be smoth and peaceful or it will the repeation of Guinea Bissau, Guinea counacky and recently Equatorial Guinea alll of which are in the symetric line with Gabon. At the same time the minister of Defense Ali Ben Bongo ( son of Omar bongo) is beeing voiced as a potential successor? Is it a Empire or a Kingdom? I think, this is the african tragedy....
